Traveling to Mexico could seems simple to plan as most travelers do to the most common locations like Cancun, Puerto Vallarta, Mexico City, & Los Cabos— But have you ever thought of challenging your travel experience to Mexico by going to a “Pueblo Magico”????
Well Did You Know…..
Mexico has 111 “Pueblos M@gicos” (Magical Towns)
You might wonder what is a Magical Town or as folks in Mexico call it, Pueblos Magicos…
A “Pueblo Magico” is a place that has symbolic history, important events and day-to-day life magic in its social and cultural history
Mexico has 31 states as part of the Republic of Mexico… and each one of the states has at least 1 “Pueblo Magico”– some have up to 6— I included the list of all the 31 states with the list of “Pueblos Magicos” at the bottom of the blog for you to reference— because — It can be a good starting point to traveling your way through MEXICO!
I have visited 6 of the 111 “Pueblos Magicos”….
This time Tequila, Jalisco will be the Focus

STATE OF JALISCO
As Many would say JALISCO is one of the states in Mexico that encompasses most of the world wide known traditions of Mexico like TEQUILA— MARIACHI—FOLKLORIC DANCING along with the beaches of Puerto Vallarta, & Barra de Navidad!
But what most people don’t know is that there is a town called Tequila that is located in Jalisco—- the town of Tequila or the “Pueblo Magico” is home to what is known as Mundo Cuervo– from the tequila (the beverage) that is exported worldwide.
TEQUILA, JALISCO is located between Guadalajara & Puerto Vallarta…. its approximately about 1 hour or so from Guadalajara and about 4 hours or so from Puerto Vallarta.
- You can drive to Tequila from Guadalajara or Take the tequila express which will give you a full experience of Jalisco– as the train has Mariachis singing and food is served. If you are interested in the tequila express, here is the link to the purchasing the tickets– Tequila Express —- I recommend getting ahead of time!
- If you choose to drive, the Cuervo Tour takes to the fields to see where they grow the Tequila and see how they process it!

Oh and did I mention— the Tequila express provides you with Tequila Tasting that you will come out knowing everything about the tequila you tried!!! — OK — You might not come out a Tequila expert but you will definitely enjoy the drinks!!!
